Bio

Knittingmama is simply me, Lauren Marie. I am a SAHM with a 1 year old daughter and another due in July. I knit for many reasons, but mainly because I love it. I'm not a yarn snob, I understand that sometimes you can only afford Red Heart. I prefer my Denise interchangeable needles to any other needles. (except bamboo, but who doesn't love bamboo?) My stash is mainly garage sale yarn that has no label and this appalls most knitters. For me, it's the love of the craft and the act of making something from a string, not spending 80 dollars on yarn for a sleeve of a sweater.
